Anne Cottage is situated close to the centre of Bakewell. This lovely 17th Century cottage has been decorated to a very high standard and boasts two en-suite bedrooms.
The accommodation comprises:
Stable door to dining room with exposed stonework, oak table and chairs, welsh dresser, and radio. Kitchen area off with fitted oak units, built in electric cooker and gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
Stairs to the left lead to a pretty twin bedroom with exposed timberwork and en-suite shower room.
Next to the dining area is a warm and cosy beamed lounge with coal effect gas fire, colour television and video/DVD player, a three piece suite and furnishings with co-ordinated fabrics.
Utility room with sink, washer/drier, fridge/freezer and ironing facilities with a rear door to a small courtyard with table and chairs.
The second staircase to the right leads to a double bedroom, which has a king-size bed and again co-ordinating fabrics, making this a beautiful room with its own spacious bathroom.
Hand painted decorative items are evident in many rooms which, along with stripped pine doors and exposed beams, give this cottage real character. With its convenient location in the heart of the Peak District National Park, this makes Anne Cottage a perfect holiday base.
